Things will settle down once you get used to having someone new living with you. It is hard at first and it takes time. It is a big change in your lifestyle but it will work out. Lots of support on this site as well when you feel overwhelmed. All the best with your new pup.

Please be very carefull with Snickers. I had a Husky years ago and it was attacked by a pit from across the park. Luckily his fur was so thick on his neck the dog didnt do any damage. I dont want to put all pit bulls down as some are real sweathearts but a lot are very unpredictable...
