Do you confine them to an area? Do they run loose in the house? Do you crate them? My husband and I crate ours - as sometimes our male gets into things he shouldn't. Sometimes, I feel like a bad fur mommy. Just wondering what everyone else does?

....when do you generally start using it for the season? I don't want them to get infected, but I don't want to use it for no real reason if it's not needed. I know it's going to vary based on living area....but a general idea. Thanks!
