Just ran across this photo of Freckles at the dog park after he had grabbed Duke's bumper. Duke is very patient and will just follow Freckles knowing that in time he will drop it. :D

What a terrible experience for Victor and you. That is always a goog sign that things will be OK. Duke and Freckles told me for you to tell Victor to just rest, take it easy, and enjoy all the pampering he can get.

Final relief. It was just a benign lipoma. This morning Duke is limping a bit but he dosen't even need any antibiotics. I just take him back in 10 days to have the stitches removed. Thanks to all for your concern and good thoughts.

I'm leaving in a bit to pick the boy up. The Vet's office said he was waking up and OK. Don't know yet what the Vet found and if they have a biopsy. May have to wait for that result but at least he'll be home and can enjoy a good supper if he feels up to it.

Yesterday I took Duke to his Vet to have a small lump examined. The lump is on the backside of his front leg and about 1/2 inch in diameter. Since it appeared fairly recently the Vet recommended that it be removed so Duke is in surgery as I post. Of course it will be biopsied to make sure it's...
