    help me identify the puppy

She is such a precious pup. You have your work cut out for you in the coming weeks/months. I wish you the best. As for the breed, it does look like the irish wolfhound posted. I think it also looks like the puggles I have seen, but if she is in fact 3 weeks, probably too big. Her facial...

    Pictures of your Puppies

Thanks, it is amazing to look back and see how much his markings have transitioned into what they are now, and it seems that with Beagles they can continue to change up to about a year or so. As he continues to get more black around his ears these days. All of your pups are precious and...

    help!

I would suggest you begin crate training. This sounds to me like a dominance thing and since she has been given free run of the house, she is free to pee on the bed. There are several threads on crate training in the training section of this forum which should proove helpful.

    Ares's Ears

Oh, I definitely think there's truth to that fact. My Beagle as a perfect example with his floppy ears. I stay consistent with his ear cleanings with the ear wash we got from the vet every few weeks. It's funny too that they always have one ear that has more predominant problems than the...

    Ear wash

That does sound like an interesting mixture. Jenn, what do you use to clean your Beagle's ears?

    How many before a puppy?

You know I can admit that I jumped into getting my puppy a little too soon also. I was checking out the breed and had gone to see one of the puppy's for the heck of it, and of course fell in love with him instantly. If I had it to do over again, I would have got an older rescue dog simply...

    Beagle shedding excessively

I was curious what the best way/type of brush to use is for a short haired breed like a beagle. In all of my initial research, never did I read that they were excessive shedders. But, maybe with summer approaching and him losing his puppy fur, I am constantly cleaning the couch covers...

    Urgent help needed....

Usually obedience training helps to address issues like this one. Have you thought about enrolling into a puppy kindergarten class. I remember back when Bailey was horrible at jumping up on people when they'd come into my house, especially my 3 year old niece, and I had to teach her not to...

    What to charge?

I like Bully's philosophy, but if you're intending to get into the business for yourself and want to build a reputation and clientelle, you may want to take the more ethical approach. Sorry, it's the newly acquired CPA coming out of me. ;)

    Am I doing this right?

funny, Bailey has been know to trick me too! I think sometimes I just take him out too often, and he wants to play b/c he doesn't have to go. Jenn, sounds like you're on the right path to potty training. It is challenging in the beginning, but I truely believe in the key word practice. I...

    training class frustration

I am curious where you took your course. B/c I took mine at petsmart and that is exactly how the class was structured for Bailey and I. But, being that I have an extremely hyper Beagle, it continued for 8 weeks and continues now. We started our intermediate course last week and go for our...

    Less Frequent Urination

If she is not having symptoms of discomfort, then I think you probably don't have anything to worry about. I have never experienced a UTI with an animal so I really dont' know what the symptoms would be. Maybe somebody will reply back with the symptoms to watch for.
