Reugar used to HATE the bath, until i started taking him to the lake with us and letting him swim, now he LOVES getting wet...unfortunately, mud puddles are wet- therefore his favorite :( lol now we just have to work on rusty, hes still a big sissy when we try to give him a bath!

haha i just found out my dog has giardia too, with my first dog, he had it and we did the panacur and it didnt work for him, then they put him on flagyl and then a round of endosorb and that seemed to do the trick. the new pup that has it is on flagyl right now and i also got a fiber supplement...

SOOO mad... i am FURIOUS right now, i cant even explain. after ALL this (and about 500$ spent at the vet for various treatments and such) it IS giardia. what makes me SO mad, is giardia can be diagnosed in house, they TOLD me this, along with coccidia and most all of the other pesky tummy...

yea its not coccidia or giardia, he was on flagyl for almost a week, so that didnt do anything!! he was also on panacur which is for the giardia...they havent called back yet either :( grr

lab tests ookay so they took some blood samples and are sending a stool sample down to the vet school at ohio state to see what can be figured out, they said we should know hopefully by tmmw or tuesday, and then if not then by the end of the week...they sent us home with fiber supplement to...

Maybe try getting a wire muzzle, just as a safety procaution, because it doesnt sound like youre 100% sure she WONT bite someone, letting her off leash un muzzled sounds like a TERRIBLE idea. They sell wire muzzles that allow your dog to open its mouth some to pant and i think drink yet it fully...
