    Have you had him tested for diabetes? Thirst and frequent urination can be symptoms; it's probably NOT diabetes but it doesn't hurt to rule it out.

    Except that silver labs came out of a single kennel that ALSO bred Weims, and silver labs were unheard of -- as in, did not exist -- until this one kennel started producing them. Or so I'm told by people far more knowledgeable about Labs than I am.

    Question for raw feeders.

    My raw supplier offers a beef/tripe mix with liver and heart that I feed instead of just plain tripe as a muscle meal; it's got the organs already included and it isn't quite as stinky as pure tripe. So, my guys get it at least once a week, if not more often.
