my dog has chicken/egg allergies and his first symptom is also tummy growling. plain yogurt (or flavored if that's all you've got) works wonders. if he develops allergy-like symptoms, benadryl is completely okay for dogs (25 mg for every 25 lbs).

seems like quite the simplest way to handle the situation. your dog must not be a sissy, which mine is, or owned by a detail-oriented sissy, such as myself. :) cheers
