A lot of different things can cause a dog to have loose stools. If it continues you run the risk of dehydration. I would take the dog to the vet to make sure that the loose stools are not being caused by anything serious.

I wash mine in the machine and dry them in the dryer and the squeaker always dies. I figure it's worth it to get them clean though. If you were crafty they sell new squeakers and you can replace the old broken ones.

He needs to be kept in a crate when you are not able to supervise his play or at night. I did that with all my dogs and that is their home. They know which one is theirs and they go into it on their own.
