I think anyone that says that hasn't looked at the bite statistics in the US... the Lab is consistantly higher on the bite list that rotts or pits...

To me at five months old the dog should be doing a minimum of 30 minutes of obedience training a day. The jumping and puppy behavior can definitely controlled with strict obedience and lots of exercise. The old saying a tired dog isa good dog is definitely true. Golden's require a few hours...

I hate to say this but a lot of dog's with sensitive stomachs can't handle the rich high protein dog foods like innova. Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice is actually quite a good food for people like this. Also dogs with upset stomachs or illness. So your statement is not entirely correct...

Lego is also a shelter rescue. He came from the teterboro shelter here in New Jersey. Its loaded with what they call "pit bulls" some of them are and some aren't. They have no choice to put a lot of them down... so Lego is a lucky boy. He knows it... and acts accordingly. :)
