I don't think you are being over protective at all. It's not good to allow dogs to hurt each other even if it is playing. Your other half should understand that, and if one of your dogs gets hurt, maybe the other half should foot the vet bill?

Eukanuba is terrible food. In your picture it shows the second ingredient as being corn meal. In other words "garbage" lol. I think it's a good idea to get rid of it. I wouldn't feed my dog Eukanuba or Iams if it was the only pet food on the market!

Wellness and Blue Buffalo are good and so is Canidae. I currently feed my dog home cooked mixed with a bit of Canidae. He loves it. Canidae, Blue Buffalo and Wellness are all pretty much organic.

Be careful with shock collars. My wife had a dog before we were married that she used a shock collar with and the poor thing burnt a hole in his throat. Some of the collars are just not safe for dogs. So I would really do my research first and find one that won't do that.
