Any idea how she would have gotten a bacterial infection? The vet says that it may be from the weather. It's been really hot and humid lately.

that happened to my dog, she had one growing out in the back of a baby tooth too. After a while the baby tooth got loose anyways and fell out. I was afraid that her teeth will be crooked but now with all her adult teeth they are fine.

Just to update you guys, i took gobbles to the vet today and had her checked out. Lots of poking and prodding...they gave her all her boosters, had a fecal test done that came up negative, skin scrapings for mites which came up negative, heartworms test, which I'm sure will be negative too...

well when you said it might be diet, it rang a bell in my head. I've been feeding her natural choice, but I guess we ran out while I was gone and my husband bought Iam...ugh. He knows i'm picky so he picked up the most "expensive" one...at Wal-Mart! :eek: I've tossed that out and am going...

thanks...i just hope it's nutrition and not pyschological, as it seems to be worse when I'm gone for long periods of time. My husband takes care of her when i'm on business trips, but she doesn't have as close of a bond with him and I'm afraid she feels stressed when i'm not around.

My miniature pinscher is losing a lot of hair on her back and there are large flakes of skin coming off. She doesn't seem to be that irritated by it, a bit of scratching and there doesn't seem to be any open wounds on her back. It's really worrying me because her once fur covered body is now...

As long as people clean up after their dogs and are able to control their dogs, I think it's a great idea, especially for those who live in the city and don't have areas to let the dogs run.

Wish I had space to let my dog run free. I live in NYC so no backyard. I tried taking her to the dog parks but she HATES it. Too many big dogs and she got trampled on. So instead I take her to strips of beaches in brooklyn so she can chase the seagulls...I highly doubt she'll even catch one...

I laughed so hard when i read this, my Gobbles loves to sleep under the covers. When she gets hot she will sleep with her head out like a person on her back. If she can't get under the covers because I wrapped it around myself she will stand by my head and paw at my head until i give up and...
