Do you leave your dogs loose together?

I'm actually surprised at everyone's answers. I personally never had more then one animal in the house at a time and if I did, I didn't leave for too long. But I never felt to put them in a room or kennel. But I guess it always has to do with the type of dogs as well. The dog boarding camp...

    Need Some Bonding Advice

I sympathize with you for sure. Years and years ago I had a dog who spent a year jumping between a couple families. One kept her in the garage all the time (even in storms which she was deathly afraid of), and the other which hit her all the time as a puppy when she was only learning. By the...

How to train a Border Collie, in 3 easy steps!

IF only! If only we all could be so lucky! Sometimes we need a bit of dog training. Thankfully the dog boarding facility has amazing staff that have been able to teach a few tricks here and there.

    Today is Riff's birthday!

Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Riff!! And I agree with above. Amazing bra model. This made me laugh. Sometimes we just have to take the camera out for these moments.

    Dog Tracking

Romy's post in another thread made so intrigued! Romy's dog tracks down crime like it was his full time job! Check out her examples in this thread - http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2353062 Does any one else have any interesting stories of things your dogs have found or...

    Can dogs smell "pain"?

That is so interesting! I know that dogs are really good trackers, but its awesome that yours has the ability to pick up the scent of crime even without an initial scent provided to them for tracking. Makes me want to start a thread to find out more crazy stories others may have!

    Which harness for Smiley?

It's an interesting Etsy link you shared, but I don't really see one there that I like myself. I like the Puppias. I don't have personal experience with them but I've heard only good things!

    Teething/Chewing suggestions?

Frozen carrot is a great idea. Something that slowly softens while they chew on it helps the pain.

    Can anyone identify my Gadget?

He looks a lot like Chi/Dachshund mix, but look at those adorable ears! And at his age, he probably wont get any bigger.

    Can dogs smell "pain"?

Not only do dogs have a crazy sense of smell, but I find most dogs that I come across also have an amazing sense of discernment. They not only seem to know a mood in a room, but also when someone new comes over, (perhaps by their posture), a dog can tell their character.

    My dog.... is weird

I can just picture Mia lying there looking not so impressed at Summer just barking at her. I wondering if she just was looking for a reaction or if she even knew she had the ball. :P

    why is he tucked?

Aw, I can just picture him all excited - how old is Talon? If he has been doing it since he was born, I don't think it is anything to worry about. You mentioned it happens in the parking lot of your apartment building. If you are in a noisy city it might just be the noise that is causing him to...

    Tallest dog

Healthy! Oh yea, this dog is healthy I'm sure. Sometimes dogs just seem to grow past even their natural breed... just like some dogs growth can be stunted. As long as they are feeding him enough (which it sounds like they are!) and give him the space to run around and get exercise, I'm sure he...

    Help find a harness?

Sure-Fit Harness The Sure-Fit Harness sounds like a good one for Talon. It buckles and unbuckles extremely easily if that is what you are looking for. And I can't say I mind the price much either!

    Separation Anxiety?

I agree with most of the other users, a crate is probably not the best solution. One thing that gives dogs even more anxiety is to be locked up in a crate or small room. It sounds like your old roommate made very little noise at all when she was home. And even though this new roommate says she...

    $53 Billion on pets

$53 Billion! Wow! That is a lot of money. I can understand as everything does add up. Pets are like an extension of our family. If we calculated how much we spend on our children that number would be way higher! I see these pets as an addition to my family, and you have to pay for their...
