My Caucasian Ovcharka sheds more than any dog I've ever seen. I've never seen anything like it. I love the breed and the personality, but the hair is really something else.

Oh, I am so glad you said this! My nineteen year old is severely autistic--he cannot speak or communicate. It hurts terribly when people want to exclude him from activities because he is different.:(

Many breeds that appear calm are so because they get the proper amount of exercise. It's important to know how much exercise you are willing to give. For instance, greyhounds are usually calm about the house. As for the Border Collie thing, was that supposed to be a joke? :eek:

Definitely black. Since I learned that black dogs are not considered as adoptable and are frequently PTS I've made it a point to adopt black dogs whenever possible.
