Not been updating the thread as we've been so busy with things down here (100 dogs sent on their way to their glorious new futures in the last 10 days alone;)) but I did find time to knock together a synopsis of our first month back after the summer hiatus for guests...

Our last group, now settled into their new country, where the temperatures seem a lot healthier for all concerned:cool:

A few more from the last few weeks here and a couple of successful re-homings, too. First up, my new girl getting accustomed to the non-street life. She's taken to the bed no problem! Had an hour to kill while my wife was teaching a class in a nearby village and this wee lass comes sauntering...

Thanks! A couple more, first of Yuna who got herself a forever home within a day of landing in Switzerland and then Rascal, who found a fosterer,too. I'm so happy this lad managed to survive the health scare last week and now has an awesome life ahead of him:cool:

Frantic weekend before 25 dogs head off to their new forever homes in Switzerland and Germany. Showers were the order of the day and then a glass of wine with one of my spoilt dudes to celebrate the awesome lives they're heading off to enjoy:cool:

So we're living in a rural part of Andalusia, Spain, where we volunteer at a rescue centre. The problem is that there is only one other volunteer and a couple of council workers; not nearly enough people to keep on top of things as we have up to 125 dogs at any one time. Having said that we...

My boy shows a lot of terrier (Bodeguero) traits. Nervous wreck lol, drives me mad sometimes. I'm surrounded by many Podencos but none of them are pets, just chained up and taken out x 3 a week in hunting season so it's really hard to talk about typical behaviours because they're just hunting...

Don't worry, nobody ever wants to talk about Randhir; everyone wants to talk about my bull breeds or my big handsome Malamute. Randhir passes under everyone's radar:( I'll try and get a pic thread up of the little tinker;)

Our dream is to have a big place here where we can add to our current 5. Lots of Podencos and Galgos will probably be the order of the day as there are so many of them needing rescuing. Natasha's a beauty, by the way! ETA My partner's dad doesn't know:lol-sign:but her mom finds it very funny.
