This is sad, but true. I wish it did not have to come down to this, because again, it is yet another example, of animals paying the price with their lives for HUMAN choices. And this is yet another reason for people to ensure that their cats, their beloved cats, do not go out unsupervised...

Would somebody from the "dogs are different" camp please answer my question about Fluffy, whenever they get a chance. Thanks. I think their answer to this question may reveal quite a bit for purposes of this debate.

Punky, while I have stated my opinion about cats roaming unsupervised, I do wish to thank you for all your efforts at TNR. I think this is very important and noble work.

Yup, I applaud all efforts to TNR. And most of this work (at least in my city) is funded by private individuals -- in other words, the few individuals that are compelled to clean up the moral mess created by thoughtless, clueless, irresponsible individuals.

Feral cats are pretty much a man made problem, so I assume you are not suggesting that you are blaming poor ferals. The responsibility first and foremost has to lay with PEOPLE that are responsible for the feral cat tragedy. I know morons who let their UNNEUTERED/UNSPAYED cats run around...
