Yep, he is a big dark, glass-eyed mutt. Catahoula and Black Mouth Cur, commonly used in this part of Texas as a Pig Dog. Pigs hate 'um, but this one has probably never seen or chased a pig. He is limited to skunks, possums, 'dillos and a few turkey and deer. He loves to bark at coyotes.
