Your amazing I hope that one day I can become as good as you, I sometimes want to kick myself because I don't draw that often anymore only when someone wants a picture of their pet done which is not that often as only friends know that I'm good at art. I am busy working and doing course work...

do Boerboels have an under-bite? he looks a bit like some of them when I google the breed, but they look too drooly looking for what he is. and they seem to have a fuller face, he has a large head but his jaw is quite slim.

I use acrylic paints on canvas/board.

He has quite a thick neck and front but is slimish at the back, but I think that is due to his lack of muscle tone in his legs as he has had a broken leg in the past and is still not putting full pressure on it.

cool thanks guys, yeah some have said lab mix..not sure there was a pit/boxer mix that looked like him. another was a french mastiff/american bulldog mix that looked like him.

mastiff with what do you recon? there are so many different breeds that he looks like when mixed together :s

Hi I posted a thread a few months back asking what breed this dog is... I now have new pictures of him fuller and healthier it might help you guys help me figure out what breed he might be.

Miakoda. see in that picture you have by every comment you make.. what breed is that? he looks like yours body wise by bigger, it is possible that he may have pit in him... he could be bullmastiff cross pit now adays there are a lot of different sized pits, they may not be full ones but it still...

some guy came up my my sister and said he had a dog that looked like him and he said his one was an american bull dog cross pit...

I have researched some other breeds what do you guys think about him being an Alano Espanol or an American bandogge Mastiff. not sure how common those breeds are in the UK

lol thats cool, I wish he was a full bull mastiff but I doubt it. all the bull mastiff pictures I have seen they have a big nose and all in all fuller face, Gus has a thinner muzzle that points upwards a little when you see his profile.
