    Innova vs Harvest Blend

Oh, I understand that no one food is mana from heaven... I'm an independent nutritional consultant, for the time being, and preach that day in and day out. Innova IS, however, in the upper echelon of super premium commercial foods, and I would rather the OP moved laterally rather than...

    Balanced Bland Diet? Help?

We have always done boiled chicken breast and rice, here, occasionally throwing some ground or shredded beef into the boil for variety. After a week or so, you can add some yogurt or cottage cheese, and maybe an egg or green beans as time goes by and his digestive tract heals.

    Innova vs Harvest Blend

Well, perhaps... but on the other hand, if health is otherwise great, I guess I'd be more amenable to sticking with an awesome food and occasionally supplementing pumpkin than going with a potentially inferior brand and subjecting the dog to the digestive upset of a diet change.

Vets / Techs, question about Doom's IV

Well, that's why we usually recommend smaller doses more frequently. Odd that your vet has you doing a full bag every eight rather than 300 mL every 3 hours or even 500 every four. Regardless, I would suggest that you alternate shoulders. Do one water balloon over the on the left side of the...

Vets / Techs, question about Doom's IV

So, if I understand correctly, you're administering subcutaneous fluids with an IV fluid bag and line? How many mLs of fluids? How often?

Dog Breeds That Shouldn't Be Bred?

Careful in your phrasing... you've mixed the names of two different breeds to describe English Bulldogs. Olde English Bulldogges (Leavitt's Bulldogs) ARE a modern recreation (theoretically) of what Bulldogs were.

    Mi-kis.... WTF????

mutts, IMO. Ancient origins shrouded in mystery by one account, mutts "developed" in Milwaukee, WI by another. Registry up in arms even more so than the registries of OEBs and Shiloh Shepherds. What it all amounts to is particularly ugly "designer dogs."

    Ever tried..Halo?

I'm not a fan. Halo is overmarketed, overhyped, overprocessed, and just not worthwhile. They beef up protein content with vegetable and grain proteins, and otherwise aren't offering anything the pet food industry hasn't already offered a million times. Their canned foods seem a bit better...

    Innova vs Harvest Blend

IMO, Innova is a slightly superior food. If you're facing issues with constipation, you can either let nature run it's course and let her body self-regulate, or you can add plain canned pumpkin to her diet. Just a spoonful each feeding regulates nicely.

    kirkland dog food

Grain heavy, but by far the best kibble when on a budget. Kirkland Signature dog foods are th same product as Diamond Naturals, just with a Costco label.
