Why does my dog do this?

They eat grass, new buds on bushes, sticks, bugs, poop and anything else that is around where you are working. It's like it's their way of "helping out". :D

Condom Found in McDonald's Happy Meal

You are absolutely right about it being a shame that we can't even get a Happy Meal with out having to check it out first, but you have to admit there has been some good analogies on this thread: - keeping food safe - glad it's not a weiner meal - increasing protein - secret sauce LMAO...

My mom has a Westie and sometimes her ears stick up, sometimes they don't, sometimes one does the other ones doesn't. When ones up, ones down it looks like she is winking at you...it's so darn cute

Evidence of psychic powers or coincidence?

Some of the books I've been reading lately talk about how your thoughts are what makes your life experiences. Sounds like this may be another example. I love when stuff like that happens.

You know I've heard of health insurance for dogs and always laughed at it, but the more I think about, it's not sounding so bad. Would you be so kind as to provide more info, premiums, company, website. Thanks

    Shaving dogs

I have always heard that certain breeds should not be shaved bald, unless and accident or some health related reason. I would think a vet should be involved in this decision

Funniest thing your dog has ever done?

My Rusty rides in the backseat and likes to hang out the window, you know to have the wind blow through his hair. He puts his one leg half out the window and half in, it's kind like he's trying to look real cool. We call it his "Picking up Chicks" pose.

    Hi...Westie Owner

Your dog is adorable. My mom has a Westie, she's a real cutie! When she runs through the house her 15 lbs sound like 115 lbs, we get such a kick at how those tiny little feet make such a big noise.

how often to use a kong

I would say it would depend on what you put in it. Don't want to feed them too much of a bad, or not good in excess, thing. A few well placed treats will keep my dog busy for quite a while.

We have hardwood floors throughout entire house and a german shepherd/husky and it's has never been a problem. Our floors are also polyerathaned (sp?) a protective coating that goes over them. It comes in high gloss, satin finish and a few in between. I strongly recommend it, you don't see...

    New rescue

He is a cutie. I've had several Beagles over the years and they are very sturdy, resilient dogs, with a great sniffer (which could be good and bad). I would guess he can handle himself with your other, bigger, dogs. I do remember how the bark/howl, It always crackes me up. Good job and Good...

Whoa, that's sound like a WHOLE lot to me. I have never had any dental anything done to my dog, but whoaaaa!!!! I'd be making some calls to other vets, just to check, if nothing else. I recently bought this dental kit, haven't started using it, but I sure will be now. Thanks for the...

    Teethbrushing

My german shepherd can not eat real bones, he gets sick, and the other toy type things made for keeping teeth clean he chews up too quickly for reap the benefits. I started cleaning his teeth by using boiullan and just rubbing it on his gums to get him used to having something in his mouth and...
