    I have a silly question...

We have an old comforter laid out for the dogs and one of ours has a ritual she perfomrms prior to sleeping on it...she paws and circles until it is just so and then can lay down. She doesn't however do this on her dog bed. I guess the dog bed is already to her liking?

How Do You Discipline A Dog?

IT's never, in my opinion, helpful to hit a dog. Also, as someone else pointed out, it can be so harmful to such a small dog. Please encourage your daughter to get some training in how to handle her dog. If she doesn't learn to properly control/train him either she or the dog could do real harm.

    It still hurts...

Awww hang in there Angel. I know how you feel. I lost my Grandpa 3 years ago, just before Thanksgiving. It's still hard when the family gets together because we all keep waiting for him to show up. I think the hurt grows less with time, but we still miss the person just as much.

    Hello!

Thank you both for the welcome. Always hard starting someplace new and always nice to have a few hellos. Sorry Skyboxer. The pic that is missing is of our most elusive cat. We are allowed to feed her and every once in a great while actually touch her. She is a cat's cat and hard to get a pic of!

I want a new kind of pet..

How about a rabbit? I've heard they make wonderful pets. Also, if you have a wild life rescue in your area you can adopt one. Our local WLR takes in rabbits that people no longer want and have many sweeties for adoption. That said I don't know if a rabbit would be safe with a 15 month old...

I have taken Holly away from Mark

New here so I don't know that my opinion counts much, but I wouldn't let him start taking care of her again...especially if you think he'll grow tired of her again. That's too confusing for a dog. I think she's better off sticking with you as a consitent care giver. And hamsters kinda un-nerve...
