In Australis heart worm is seen similar to other worm issues, ie its not a vet prescription issue. Some people swear by certain brands of flea and worm medication, but if its from a reputable brand, then its what works for your dog. I use spectrum because it does fleas and ALL worms.

yes, like people have said, in small doses is supposed to be good, I see several dog food and dog treat companies use it. It has a toxic ingredient but at a much lower level than onions, Funnily I have not found any info on safe dosage levels and have only really heard it recommended by natrapaths.
