    What an Appetite!

She's 6 months old. We have had her for about a month. We are currently feeding her Science Diet Puppy food. We would like to transition her off of it to something better but have not done our homework on food yet.

    What an Appetite!

Is she growing and gaining weight at a reasonable rate? We think so, but she is new to us (~1 month). And we're not quite sure how big she may get. We are fairly confident that she is a Boxer/Whippet or Boxer/Greyhound mix and her energy level leads us to believe that she will be a lean dog...

    Puppy Exercise

Sonoma Sonoma is ~6 months She is a Boxer/Whippet mix (we think!) 30-60 minutes at the beach (usually with many other dogs) as many days a week as possible and at least a good 30 minute walk too. Two long walks if we don't make it to the beach. She also has a large fenced in yard that...

    What an Appetite!

Our new puppy Sonoma has been with us for three weeks now and is really a great little dog. She seems to have an endless appetite. She eats twice a day and appears to be hungry all the time. We could give her twice the food that she is getting (1 cup per feeding) and she would gobble it all...

    Overstimulation?

Our new pup Sonoma is about 6 Months old. We have only had her for a few days. She seems to have moments of extreme hyperactivity when we take her out. No pattern so far, just wild jumping, mouthing and running around. The only real concern is the mouthing. She never seems to nip or...

    Hi from CT

Hi all! We're new to the forum and new people to our baby girl, Sonoma, ~5 mo old boxer mix. Though our previous dog was a fantastic Dalmatian, Max, it's been a few years since we've had a dog and even more since a puppy! We will certainly be asking for some advice along the way.
