Shadow is 8 months old by now. He listenes to the whistle quite well so when he`s off leash a recall is no problem as long as we meet joggers or bikers .. even horses, deer or cats. When we meet other dogs and they are able to greet eachother or even play for a while and I walk off he`ll follow...

That`s quite frustrating .. we like to go out for dinner and we do like fancy restaurants - Shadow has come along from the very beginning when he was 11 weeks old; there is only few restaurants that do not accept dogs .. and you are not allowed to take them to beaches or pools where entrance...

Sorry but no advice from our side. Shadow also just waits until I take him out - and when I ask him to get up he starts rolling around as if there`s no need at all. But once we`re outside he`s in a hurry to get to his spot. As long as there are no accidents in the house that`s ok with me.

Well, that`s okay .. as long as we know the rules. Fortunately here they`re allowed in most of the restaurants (unless they don`t have an open kitchen) - even the fancy ones.
