Thanks for all the replies... I have a nylon collar already but my partner would like to buy a collar that isn't so girlie. I think hes looking to get a leather one. I was also wondering how long does it take a puppy to get used to their collar. Do I just put it one and leave it?

I'm looking for a nice collar and leash and I was wondering if one is better then the other? It's for a small dog if that makes any difference.
