Seeing More Border Collie - Not liking It.

Luckily, they don't seem to have taken off here. There are a lot at my training club & agility, but that's to be expected. I don't see many out on walks, maybe one or two regularly, and there's rarely adds in the paper for them. One Man and His Dog often causes a small surge in people wanting...

    Shedding

I'll try raw egg and supplements that oyu suggested, thankyou. She's on Burns and raw meat on Saturdays and Wednesdays, seriously it's the best you can get around here althought it's not great.

Uh, we have to switch from Burns.

England, near Liverpool. I've never seen either of those foods around here though...

I need a bit of help

The breeder warned us how hard it would be, he's so lively but things are better. Still loves to destroy stuff but he's better than he was! The housetraining ís going a lot better, he can go from about 10.30pm until 5.30pm which is so good, I'm so proud of him! He's stopped crying as much in the...

Uh, we have to switch from Burns.

We did look at that but it worked out so expensive after P&P . I'll have another look though! So is JW an ok food then?

I need a bit of help

I feel better this morning, it just seemed to get me down yesterday. 1. He's a Border Collie 2. 8 weeks 3. Yes, and a pen in the daytime 4. In my bedroom in the crate. Thankyou for the links, I'll read up on them. It's good to know that he is just being a puppy!

I need a bit of help

We got a pup on Saturday and things are going ok. The thing is though, he wants to bite everything rather than his toys and I'm scared he's going to hurth his mouth and I don't know how I can stop him. He hates his collar, we put it on on Saturday night and even now he's still itching at it...

Uh, we have to switch from Burns.

I have read up on what to look for, but it's really hard to find anything suitable here with all the ingredients that are good. Even Burns is only counted as Ok food, and it's the best we have so I just don't know what to do.

Uh, we have to switch from Burns.

Haha, Jess is a stubborn thing and she's just refusing to eat it. I really don't know what to do. We don't have any of the great foods round here, Burns was the best and so that's why it's annoying to have to switch. Anyone know of good alternatives in the UK? I really am struggling here.

Uh, we have to switch from Burns.

Jess doesn't like it so now we have to switch. She won't eat it at all, and yeah, she's fine, not ill or anything, just doesn't like it. We gave it a good try but I can't keep her on it much longer. So now I don't know what to feed. Someone on a BARF forum recommended Wafcol, so we might try...

    Nature's Menu in Tesco!

I don't know. Jess is picky on it, although several people have now recommended Wafcol? They sell it in P@H apparently. Might swap her over, the mum of one of my friends is a breeder, and they feed BARF but she said if she ever had switch back to dry it would be Wafcol, because although Burns is...

    Nature's Menu in Tesco!

Had a quick look at the ingredients and they LOOKED good, but I'm no excpert on this thing. Much cheaper than the Burns she's currently on, and ingredients looked better as well. http://www.naturesmenu.co.uk/ They sell the dry stuff in 3kg bags. Traditional - Ingredients...

    Conversing with your dog...

I have a stronger relationship with my dog than several of my friends. I think it's to do with the lack of paranoia. If the dog could talk I couldn't assume what she's saying is nice! But yeah, you can tell a lot from a dog and communicate in a different type of way if you just look. I think...

Price for a vet visit....what's yours?

£20 for a consultation normally, but there isn't much of a check-up charge. When she had long nails and we took her in they saw her for free. Vacs are expensive though, £30-£50 a time. And Jess is on a course of antibiotics at the minute and it cost us over £30. But I'm happy with our vets, easy...

    Dulce look here!

No one should have the right to take a life away. No one. It disgusts me that we are at this day in age and yet some dogs don't have a chance.
