    For a glossy coat.... ?

I don't do anything extra for my dogs and their coats, and they have very nice, soft coats. My mothers adds a suppliment to her dog's food. I found it only gave my dog the runs. I am not a vet but I heard that eggs were good for a dog's coat, maybe you can try that.

Just found out my puppy has hip dysplasia

First, I would like to say how sorry I am to hear about your puppy. I can imagine it has to be very hard. As for alternative medicine, I can say this...my parents had a dog, a cocker spaniel, who was paralyzed from his mid back down to his back legs. He was hit by a car and the vet wanted to...

what wormer medication do you trust?

I get Revolution from my vet. It takes care of everything in one shot. It's but on the dogs skin between the shoulder blades and it's given once a month. It takes care of heartworms, fleas and ear mites and other parasites. It costs us about 80 dollars for a 6 month supply and then we get a...

    Bathing??

I was told that you shouldn't give baths more than every six weeks because it can dry out a dog's skin. It's hard to say because I do give my dog a bath about that often but my dog gets wet a lot because he loves to swim in our pool. I know it's not the same thing as a bath but it does get him...

    Need to Vent!

I'm glad they had someone like you who cared enough to contact someone. Hopefully it was a one time thing and they won't do it again. I live in Florida so I know about heat. My dogs love their car rides so much and most of the time I won't take them because I feel it is too hot for them even...

    guard dog

Our security dog, the Aussie I can only give you advice on my personal experience. I own 2 Australian Shepherds and they are the best dogs and guard dogs I have ever owned. They are very nice dogs but very very protective of our house. It is their territory. My male dog has jumped out of...
