Hello,
Just joined the forum as a new puppy parent, though I am not new to dogs!
My husband and I just brought home our long awaited Black Russian Terrier puppy yesterday! so far things are going great. She is doing all the typical puppy things. She eats, she sleeps, she poops, chews on something, then repeats.
She is very people oriented though and is already doing well with puppy push ups (Sit, down, stand, sit, down, stand) with the incentive of small pieces of string cheese of course.
We also share our home with a number of parrots and a pair of ferrets.
We are currently calling the new puppy Moxie but I am not sure if it will stick or not as it is really too early to tell.
As I said we are not new to dogs - our 12yr old Doberman passed away about six months ago now. Which is not too long ago but I really could not stand not having a dog in the house any longer!
I have included a couple of pictures of the fluff ball.
