One of my dogs is similar! I've tried Rescue Remedy, Thundershirts, even the equivalent of prozac to reduce his anxiety and nothing has helped

I wasn't here during the beginning of this thread, and from what I've read on this last page I don't really want to go back to read through it - but I am going to say I'm happy to hear that your dog has been able to live a wonderful life with you without any of those unfortunate things you mentioned

I think it is wonderful that you want to save this dog! Since it is out in the open though it sounds like catching him might be too difficult to handle on your own, and every day he is out on his own he is at risk... maybe see if you can get a rescue group to have some people help you out?
