I would say yes leave some water and I always left a little bit of food for Holly as well along with a couple toys and raw hide for her to chew on. I would also agree that it's best to keep the crate in the same place as Holly sees it as her area if that makes sense?

Awww bless!!! I laughed so much when I read that, I don't have the squeaky toy problem with Holly, but when kids are around her they feel the constant need to squeak the toy as they feel Holly likes it when in reality I'm convinced Holly despises it as much as I do!
