  • Hi, I didn't want to write this on a post and hurt Jynx's feelings. Her recipe looks yummy. But one word of caution. I've done some (not a huge amount) of research about nutrition, consulted a canine nutritionist for Lyric's liver disease as he needed a special, home made diet which included a little bit of garlic. And I have come across lists of things which are toxic to dogs, such as onions, chocolate, grapes, raisins and what I have read is that garlic in small amounts is fine and even good for them, but excessive amounts can be toxic. With your dog's sensative tummy, the loose stools, I'd caution about using more than 1/2 to 1 clove in a batch of "cookies." (I forget the measurements of the other ingredients so I don't know how much there was. So, that might be off about the amount of garlic) But anyhow, I don't think gobs an gobs of garlic would be a good idea. Just thought I'd get that off my chest.

On the other hand....about not posting right there, maybe that's not so good either because other people reading it or Jynx might cause a problem in their dogs. Hmmm. What should I do? lol.
