I was always taught that no excessive noise before 8:00 am or after 10:00 pm. I try to hold to that. I do vacuum early and late but I figure nobody can hear that from the houses nearby.

I guess it would depend on how bad the name was or if I had another dog by that name. I would generally not change their name. I think they would have enough changes to deal with that the name change wouldn't be necessary. So now, ARE you adopting a senior dog? :)

Rest in Peace Dust Bunny. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my old girl of 24 years last year at about this time. I miss her terribly but am happy she is running free with the Angels. Maybe She and Dust Bunny are kicking up their heels together now. My thoughts are with you.

For me, I prefer the look of a lot of pet quality small breed dogs. Not that they are not from good breeders but I like them in puppy cut hair do's instead of show coats. I wouldn't give you 2 cents for some of the small dogs in the show ring with the giant foo foo hair. That goes for...
