    Revolution Heart Worm Prevention?

you can get adequate coverage for your pup - by using different things. Frontline will take care of fleas/ticks - although you will still want to check thoroughly if you're in an area with ticks. The heartworm prevention you choose will more than likely have another dewormer IN it - which will...

    Revolution Heart Worm Prevention?

Personally, I would go with a frontline treatment, and a separate heartworm prevention. Revolution is a systematic preventative - and I am not a fan of something staying inside my dog for 30+ days... The only systematic thing I use on my pets is comfortis (which I'm still not thrilled about, but...

    Revolution Heart Worm Prevention?

I'm not a fan of Revolution...personally I use interceptor - I live in heartworm central though. Could your vet approve a script to order JUST a heartworm prevention like heartgard or interceptor?

    What do you guys think??

I think that is a completely wonderful idea. I have one cat with cancer right now, and have lost too many people in my life to the awful disease. Please let us know when you're ready to sell them! And those puppies are way. too. cute!

Are you "pro" spay/neuter or not?

IF your dog is a non issue, and IF you are responsible - then sure. But sadly, responsible people are the minority. People just don't seem to understand the issues they are creating. I've spent the past 7 weeks bottle raising a litter of mixed breed pups, after their formers owners lab MIX was...

    Comfortis and stomach problems?

Vomiting is VERY common the first time you give it. Neither of my boys had any issues - but that's the biggest thing we've seen at the clinic using it. I would assume diarrhea wouldn't be uncommon - it's some sort of a bacteria (we had a rep explain it to the rest of the staff, I missed that...

    Pet Stores.

Education is key. Like the first responder said - make a scene. Educate people while you're there. Let them know that that $1000 puppy was purchased from a puppy broker, for $99. Who's making the profit now? And before that - that puppy was purchased from a mill. (yes, puppies over 3 months old...

    A few of my boys

I've been away from this forum for...probably a year or so now. Just thought I'd stop in, see how everyone's doing (that I don't 'see' elsewhere) and share a few pictures of Casey, and my newest guy - Benny he can be SO focused at times- and... he can be such a goober other times...

Are you "pro" spay/neuter or not?

I work in a shelter, have for years - I've seen it all. And for that reason - I AM pro-speuter. Although, I have NO problem with someone responsibly keeping an intact pet. However - I see no reason if the pet is not of breeding quality, and there is no medical reason why it shouldn't be done -...
