Also forgot to mention my opinion on Dobe/Rottie. had both, loved both, BUT i am in the UK and over here Rotties do much better due to colder weather. Dobes i think are ideally suited to warm climates. Mine is an absolute wimp - wears my old sweaters!! Rottie similar problem but not as bad...
