geez i'm glad there are others that have a problem with this constant enforcing of yr alpha pack leader drama that is so popular. i always shut up about my reservations about it but so glad that others have the same feelings. it's good to know yr not the only freak out there :)

no contradiction if your design goal is; "big, stupid, lazy, dim-witted pets" anyhoo, i got nothing else, i fully agree with everything and anything that anyone and everyone says as long as it is not about my mother.

thanks for the tip, maybe some of the smart folks could show me how to take any functional working breed and turn it into big, stupid, lazy, dim-witted pet as well.

i would have to agree with all of this, purebred dogs certainly did not emerge form randon genetic mutations and i can't remember seeing the AKC breeds mentioned in the book of genesis so yeees;

well then if we all have our own connotations maybe people should spell that out before judging others connotations. i believe the unsaid debate was actually more about breeder motivations more than individual dogs produced.

for those that didn't get why i called the gsd a designer breed, i will go further and call every breed from lap dog/ companion, sheepdog, ppd......etc very much a designer breed by pure logic and respect for the definitions and intent of the english language, also will add the labradoodle was...

i disagree, it can be that simple, stud books in other animals eg horses have been open and closed several times over and the planet just kept turning. some europeans will openly cross breed they want into their lines to keep them super working dogs for SWAT, leo, special forces, high level...
