we call her lots of variations..Mother Mary suits her personality best, sometimes it is just "come along mama" and i get some strange looks..when she was little mary margerate, and Mary angeline..i named her after a little girl that was precious to me, one i would have loved to raise as my own. Mary dog has lived up to the name well...i wish the two could meet someday but i have lost track of the little girl who is now a woman with children of her own.
