wag it's tail when eating? Silly question, I know--but Traveler does NOT wag her tail when she eats. However, as soon as Baxter knows it's meal time, his tail is going nonstop until he is done eating! And it's not a little wag, we are talking enough movement to sail a boat with!! It's hysterical! :p

What does your dog do?

You know, I'm not sure . . . I've never paid attention to it . . . I think she holds it still. Now I have to check . . .

Milo never stops wagging his tail except sometimes when sleeping (i wish i were exaggerating, but i'm not).

Benji hardly ever wags his tail. Basically he'll only wag if you have steak or bacon or something, or you kiss his nose.

My guess is if you haven't noticed, then they probably don't. I will have to try and tape Baxter--it is too funny to me--he is just sooooooo happy to eat! LOL--that's a hound for you!

My Wishbone even jump, turn around or run round sometimes when he know it's meal time.

When they know it's time to eat, yes they get all excited, but once the food is down and they've been released from their "wait", then it's down to business.

Zaphod does and it's SO CUTE. I put down his food bowl and the tail starts going a mile a minute. If I sing to him while he eats, he does little leaps of joy in between mouthfuls.

The BCs don't ever wag. They take mealtime seriously.

They will wag their tails if I ask them if they are hungry but not while they are eating. Bandit does lay down and eat out of his bowl though.

Oh, now that calls for video!

It depends on what they're eating and what kind of mood they're in. Sometimes Bimmer will do the slow wag, speeding it up if I'm standing there (I think it's for my benefit, lol).

Sometimes Kharma does the puppy wag - the one where the end of her tail wiggles like a nursing puppy's. Beyond cute on something like her :)

Conrad wags while he eats. He wags when he drinks too. He's not a super-waggy mile-a-minute 24/7 kind of dog, but he is pretty quick with a *thump thump thump* if you look at him.

Marlowe didn't wag at all for the first 6 months we had him. He wags a fair amount now and he'll wag when he thinks you're about to dish dinner out, but when he actually eats there is no wagging. Heck, there's no breathing. He's a canine vaccuum.
