I just finished His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman, it's the books that The Golden Compass movie is based on. I liked reading it but I have to agree with the media tha it was anti- God. I also have just read Coming Clean by the comedian Rodney Carrington, it was really funny but alot of the same material as his cd, and it is alot funnier to hear it than read it. I read The Wolfling by Sterling North, I really like it. And I am currently reading Kavik the Wolf Dog by Walt Morey

No, I haven't heard of it before. Tell me more, please.:)
Here's a brief description I found: After his wife Lexy dies after falling from a tree, linguistics professor Paul Iverson becomes obsessed with teaching their dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Lorelei (the sole witness to the tragedy), to speak so he can find out the truth about Lexy's death--was it accidental or did Lexy commit suicide?

I have it, Amy, but I've not read it. The description sounds good, though. :)
Cool. :D I'm going to return this other book I bought because I'm not really liking it (The Theory of Clouds). It's translated from French so I don't really like how it flows.

Amy, that does sound interesting. I might have to find it, but right now I'm working through our library system, nothing like free books that I don't have to store anywhere.

Grammy, it's a good book... was heartbreaking at times, though. :)

The book I'm reading right now is called "A Lick Of Frost" by Laurell K. Hamilton. I've read the rest of the series and so far this one's my favorite, but hey I'm only on chapter five

Well so far I'm NOT liking this book..

The Road, it has an IMO awful writing style and after 43 pages, I still dont know whats going on, there is no plot and no nothing....
Is it full of untranslated Spanish? :D
What, you don't like the lack of quotation marks? lol

ROFL! In all his other books he had large amounts of spanish dialogue, like pages worth, and no translations for them :p

I can't wait to get it! :D

Ahhh!! I'm in love with this whole forum...

Ok, I'm currently reading The Dangerous Book for Dogs (Its hilarious!!)
and I just finished
The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz, which was one of my favorites ever by him. (I love his Odd Thomas series, too!!)
