oo0oo, I almost started that last night, Jess, but I wanted to wait until you got yours so we could read it together. Good thing I didn't get too far in reading Turn of the Century. :D

I just started We The Living by Ayn Rand.
I'm also still reading For the Love of a Dog by Patricia McConnell. I started reading it a long time ago, but I lost it and recently found it when I went through stuff in my room.

I just finished reading "The Guardian" by Nicolas Sparks again.

:(

Before that it was "In the Company of Heroes" by Michael Durant.
(The Army pilot that was captured in Somalia...another great read)

Well so far I'm NOT liking this book..

The Road, it has an IMO awful writing style and after 43 pages, I still dont know whats going on, there is no plot and no nothing....

Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult

Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald
Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult
the namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

And hubby and I are going to read Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah together again. :)

I agree. I'm not a fan of the writing style at all. I only gave it 15 pages before putting it down. :(

In the past 10 days I read:

Adventures of a Shopaholic (hey...I was in Hawaii...needed a beach book!)

Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner

Choke by Chuck Palahniuk

Loved them all...however I have a feeling I may not be getting everything I was supposed to from 'Choke'. Not sure if I was in the best mindset to be reading it, but it was still great!

For school I'm reading Nectar in a Sieve by Kamala Markandaya. For a school book it's really not that bad, nice and short, though a bit depressing.

And I also just started reading Merle's Door by Ted Kerasote last night. I'm only one chapter into it but it seems good so far. :)

Oo! I just got a new book called The Theory of Clouds by Stephane Audeguy. It was in the new author section at Barnes and Noble. It's pretty good so far.
