I would be concerned about ventilation to the dog, and what kind of stains and treatments were done on the wood.
But they do look nice.

They look strangely like modified aquarium stands to me . . . I wonder if they actually are . . . if I could put a tank on one?

Definitely feel many dogs would chew threw the wood. If someone made maybe a wicker topper for the crate so it still gets ventilation, that might me better. My stepson actually put a nice blanket quilt over his when not in use.

Neat idea but what happens if you have a sick dog that messes his crate?? I'd imagine those are very hard to clean! Nah I'll stick to my tried and true plastic and wire crates, even if they dont match my home decor :D

My dogs would bust out of that crate I'm afraid. Would be nice for a small or mellow dog though.

Oooh OC makes a great point. Cider's had a few crate messes that even a pressure washer and the crate outside took time to fix when she was ill..

Its gorgeous, for my guy who is house trained and timid in his crate it would be excelent. It does look like they may be mofying furniture and I am sure you could make one of your own if you wanted to.

I like the 2nd ones better. I work as a cabinetmaker and have been thinking of building something like that for both of my dogs. Their crates (we call them rooms) are in the dining room at our house and when we have family over the "rooms" go outside.
