Jack and I went to the Council Bluffs Kennel Club show this past weekend. We competed in the fun match on Saturday and the regular show today (Sunday).
At the fun match on Saturday, Jack got first in his class and Best Adult in Breed. We then went into the group ring and came out with a 3rd in Group placement!!! He beat a very nice Cocker Spaniel to get this placement.
Today, Jack took fourth place in his class. He didn't beat anyone, but he showed better for me than he had ever done in the past. I was having trouble getting him to keep his head up as we moved around the ring. Today, not only did he hold his head up, but he showed with an attitude that I had never seen come from him before. I am sooooo proud of my boy.
His breeder filmed us in the ring today. I will put it up if the quality turns out.
I think the win that we had on Saturday was something we both needed. Mostly me though
