Oh, Gem, you KNOW you need a girl mixed in with those boys :D
Oh, I am pining for a girl so badly! I am the only female in the house--cats, Horsemen and ferret are all male. But with my luck, I'd probably end up with a clever little she-devil who goads the Horsemen into more mischief than they already come up with on their own.

Well DUH....it IS a FEMALE AUSSIEHOULA...and Voodoo would be falling all over himself to take the blame for it so she'd like him. ;)

Voodoo and Zeus need baby sister . . . . You know she'd be the responsible one ;)

Seriously though, those pups have the potential to be AWESOME dogs and superb watch/guardian dogs without being overboard and the Aussie genes should potentially have an effect on the DA traits of the Cat genes.

Ooooh no. With my luck, she'd end up being the ringleader. :yikes:

But I bet the pups would be absolutely beautiful all grown-up, especially if they're muscular and colored like catahoulas, but with the Aussie coat and expression. Hmm, random question: which breed has higher drive, Aussie or 'houla? I've never really been around Aussies. Anybody know?

Aussies are herders par excellence. I had one who was born blind (double merle  ) and he was still a herder. Drove my sister's Jack Russell insane - short trip, lol - and O'Reilly was one of the most reliable guards I've ever known. Very affectionate, EXTREMELY responsible. He kept everything in line.

I'd describe the Aussies as focused and intense rather than drivey.

It's because his nails are kind of long right now. Makes it easier to hit the keys. Actually, since he's all sorts of passed out from the park, I should trim them...
