Pog has a strange red, crusty bump right on the corner of his eye. It's not on his eye ball, it's right next to it on the skin of his head. I've been reading, and I think maybe.......ringworm! EW!

He hasn't been near any other animals though, how could he get ringworm?? I'm not even sure if that is hat it is though.

Ringworm can be picked up simply from the ground, there doesn't have to be contact with another affected animal.

A bump, though, isn't classic for ringworm. If it doesn't start to clear up over the weekend, or if he develops more of these spots, definitely have them checked out.

I know! EW! Every time I take a picture it doesn't come out well. His fur is really messing with the pic! >_<

Be careful. Get it treated. I caught ringworm when I was volinteering at a shelter . . NOT COOL! See a vet ASAP.

Second thought, I don't think it's ringworm. I'm not sure what it is. One thought was a tick, but I'm not sure that's what it is either. It looks like some weird scab. I don't know.

The first pic, Pog's eye is the yellow flash. The second pic is a real close pic of the sore thing, so no eye in that pic.

It suddenly appeared yesterday or so. I don't know what the heck it is, it could be wound I guess, but it's a bit weird for a wound, at least from my idea of a wound like that. IDK. I don't know how to tell her to treat it either??

That looks pretty swollen - perhaps some kind of puncture wound.

Being so close to the eye, I would make a trip to the vet.
