Wait whoa slow down there. You've yet to reach the full scope of the situation, the true underlying reasons, the heart of the event...

Was she hot? Ask Mark to judge if you don't feel you're qualified.
She wasn't butt ugly I mean she was cute. IF I was a guy I would date her but I'm a girl.

I just thought it was wierd I never had a girl show that kind of affection towards me. I knew we had a few drinks and were being silly but I've had a few drinks with my other high school friends (that are girls) and they never tried making out with me. I don't want to make problems for anyone which is why I was don't want to say anything to my neighbor but ofcourse had to tell Mark why I wanted to put some distance between me and her.

I sort of feel like maybe I led her on but don't see how I could have led her on.

Where's she from? Perhaps you just don't know the customs of her native people's.

She could be like, Norwegian, or Burundian, or Dominican, or Californian. Who knows?

I've had a couple awkward run ins with girls, but they were people I'd known a long time. No attempted make out sessions though. I'd be really weirded out if a girl I'd just met tried to make out with me.

I think the bottom line is when someone makes advances you don't appreciate you should let them know. And yes, I'd want to distance myself a bit at least at first.

she's from here in indiana so that's not OUR custom to make out with other women (atleast not that I'm aware of).

It's so innapropriate for her to even think about kissing me and I am going to put a distance between us but it's like something inside me wants to get to the bottom of it.

I'm not going to hang out with her, atleast for awhile, but she was a nice girl before she decided to try and make out with me.

This happens to me a lot. Everyone things I'm a dyke. I pretty much just say "I'm not into girls" and continue on like nothing happened. Some tiems people just get the wrong impressions.

julie, someone has to say it, but thats hot ;)

but honestly, why dont you just ask her why she did it?
my husband has already said that:mad: ! All that I did was say, "sorry but I'm not into women" and she laughed and apologized and said "it's the mikes!"

that's what I said "I'm not into women" and then started talking about brett michael again. She apologized and then said it was the mikes we were drinking but I don't know if it was because she didn't have that many. I've seen her drink and the amount of mikes she had tonight was nothing compared to what she puts away on a day when she gets plastered to where I would actually believe her if she said it was the alcohol.

ROFL! I was thinking exactly the same thing. :p I have been hanging out with guys too long, I think.

You learn new things every day. ;) Okay, enough teasing you... I agree with you, Julie, put some distance between you and her, never be with her alone if you can help it, and forget it happened. It'll just be more awkward if you mention it again and chances are she's wishing she hadn't done it.

Am I the only one that sees nothing wrong with having a little kiss with your girlfriends. It does wonders for getting free drinks. LOL!

I guess I'm just wondering...why even a GUY would attempt to kiss a girl he got NO signs from that they'd just met...and that was not at all in a "date" scenario? I mean any guy doing that with a girl would be slapped and labeled a cad at the very least no?

I guess I don't know what she's thinking..it's extremely rude behavior no matter what the sexes involved.
