Who do you find Sexy, and why?

Ok--all these other threads have me thinking ....and wondering about what makes people attracted to or attractive to others. Soooo, if you dare....share your thoughts on who and or what is attractive to you.

First and foremost a sense of humor that matches mine, a playful and light personality, the ability to not be offended by anything and a brain that challenges me to some extent. Looks are absolutely the last thing I look for as if the individual has the above mentioned characteristics, I am capable of finding them attractive, pretty much regardless of their physical appearance (barring the person is not hideous or anything…).

I don't know, it's so hard to quantify. I don't like very average cornfed boy/girl next door types. I like features that are a little unusual. Piercing eyes, an engaging voice, things that make you step back and have to catch your breath for a moment. And personality is huge and I think is really reflected in the way people look a lot of the time. Not their physical features but the way they carry themselves and move and speak. What I find incredibly attractive are actually things that I have to stay far away from and not get involved with--you know the tortured artists. Been there, done that, no thank you. I will admire from afar.

Noses....I love larger than normal noses. Bone structure...the more exotic the better. Good height...good shoulders...

Anything exotic or different than the norm...very pale or very dark..accents...fashion sense...etc.

I was at a party once with my best girlfriend and she and I had a little giggle fest about Hugh Laurie (House) and all the guys we were chatting with were incredulous that we found him so sexy. And my friend and I were like, "Are you kidding? He's sex on wheels!" And the guys were like, nah you two are weird. So we called more and more ladies at the party over to ask them "Do you think Hugh Laurie's totally hot?" and every single one was like, "Oh god yes!" And the guys just stood there with their jaws getting progressively closer to the floor.

I forgot one sexy feature: accents. As if that's not already clear by my above answer. DH and I are currently watching the BBC series "MI-5" and the lead in that show is totally a Hottie McHotterson, Hugh Laurie is a recurring supporting character, and a recent episode also had Anthony Stewart Head (Giles from Buffy) as guest star and I almost had to go change my pants.

I like Hugh Laurie too, I think one of the reasons I like him (other than as the incredibly sarcastic Dr House) is that he doesn't think he is sexy.

I find there is no 'one' thing or look that does it for me. I like tall, good shoulders a real plus.

Judging by my dating history, looks apparently don't matter much to me...good personality will very easily win me over...

I find many different types of guys sexy...but mainly tend to go for dark eyes and hair...and a good bone structure is a must. I also like shorter guys (but minus my spanish boy, that hasnt shown in my dating history either)...like 5'9ish....also a really good build...buff, but not like rippling muscles...that grosses me out. I also like smooth chests...i hate really hairy guys.

right now, my sexy man is my spanish boy...mmmmm...the first guy i've dated who actually fits most of my preferred physical characteristics, and fits jjsmom's description perfectly!

OMG, i LOOOOVE MI-5...adam is soooo dead sexy. Although I really don't like british accents, haha...but his definitely does not detract from his sexiness anyways. I also find hugh laurie to be veryyy good looking!

I like a man who is kind, and caring, but not a push over. I love nice muscular legs...and mostly, I find a guys eyes can be sooooo sexy.....

WOW..ok you and I have a LOT in common Dreeza. I too tend to go for shorter (only dated 1 tall guy in my life and the kissing and cuddling wasn't NEAR as good due to the height differences). I am only 5 foot 4, so as long as he is at least that tall I am good to go. I like the face to face closeness I can share with guys more my height. I also can't stand too much body hair.. but willing to deal if he will wax it for me.
I too have to have the personality. I don’t care how hot you are.. if you are vacuous or can’t take a joke, or take life too serious and can’t be playful… please do not apply here. I am totally with you on the dark hair, although I REALLY like the dark hair with blue eyes and blue eyes with grey hair makes me gaga.. I can’t stop staring at them.

I have always found Val Kilmer sexy....and also at the opposite end the guy who used to play Angel the vampire spin off of Buffy, and now I think he is in a show called Bones. Ya, he is definitely sexy.

He hosts Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel and also does a lot of the narration(sp?) for their shows. His voice is schmexy!
