The "We're Going Back to School and Need Support" Thread

I was talking with Kirst and it was apparent that we are both in supreme apprehension with our last year of our programs. We started to give each other some support and then decided that we should start a thread- it's going to be a long year for some of us.

So this is your rant, your "I'm so angry I could smash the world to smithereens", your "I didn't get an A" your "I can't write one more paper!!" your "NO MORE BOOKS", your "is the semester done yet?" thread. A thread when all will be understood and your fellow Chazzers will probably agree and plot to take over the world to get rid of said schooling systems, lol.

I'm going back to school this year . . . For 7 years I was at an office job that I loathed!

So I'm both excited and apprehensive.

Oooohh I'll start... WHY does my english teacher have to give us so much homework? I have another essay due thursday now

Argghhh! Why do my stupid books need to be so heavy?! Why is my English teacher so strange?!

Since when is 'Teletubbies Gone Wild' not an acceptable 'favorite movie', and does it really deserve a detention on the second day of school?!?

I hate English. I hate writing papers. English class should die.

I had a lot of detentions in high school.

I do until I can figure out just how much I can get away with in each class.

I have a feeling english is going to suck. A 100 word vocab test every week?! Ummm no thanks!

I just graduated with my BS in May... however, I'll probably go back to grad school in the next couple of years

i am glad the kids in our neighborhood are back in school, but i hate that their parents are now out driving while i am trying to commute! either learn to drive like a regular commuter or get in the friggin right lane!

School starts on Monday for me. Tis my Junior year (also the year I apply for vet school!) and as I'm reaching the end am quite reluctant to leave. I love college lol.


But anyhow I'm open to any support ya'll can give, especially of the monetary sort...

Gee I was going to offer my services as an essayist and proofreader. Seriously, not only is English my first language, but it's also my favorite subject.

How do you feel about really long essays-- say.... thesis long? opcorn:

I'm in back to school mode, and things don't seem so bad right now. But I'm sure I'll be cry babying in no time.
