Doesn't have to be a traditional film or even one intended to be frightening...just a movie you saw that scared you so bad you couldn't sleep for days,....or watch ever again?

My top 2 would be:
'The Exorcist' (only the first one)
'Halloween' (ditto)

Dawn of the Dead. No joke... I saw it in high school, and had a hard time sleeping that night!

Traditional scary movies aren't really scary, in my opinion. Psycho was good, though.

I recently saw Room 1408, and I thought it was really scary.

I love scary movies. I think The Others is another good scary one.. not so scary but psychologically scary.

Nightmare on Elm Street, hands down. Even the sequels do enough for me to just freak out.
I was watching that for the first time when it came out on Vid. cuddled up on the couch as a teen with a BF and his brother went out side and took a metal lawn rake and scraped it down the siding and scared the crap out of me. LOL

Nightmare on Elm Street, I didn't sleep for days after I saw it. Poltergeist, the first one, and the Exorcist. Any body else have the problem where they a scarey movie and know they shouldn't watch it but can't help but watch it?

I remember when I saw Halloween in the theater....I was in college at the time. I went with my friend and we each had a date. We had to drive about 40 minutes to another city to see it. Of course...it was right around Halloween. We drove back on this deserted highway and it was really scary!!!!!!!!!!!!:yikes: They guys even felt scared.:D

My bloody valentine. I was nineteen and dating a guy from Beirut. Wwe went to the same college. Later, he hit me for hugging my uncle, and that was it. It was a bad night, all the way around.

LMAO Ed!!!

The scariest movies that I have seen are the Exorcist, The Sixth Sense, & Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I loved the gore of all of the Saw movies!
