LOL! The table doesn't look very comfortable...How funny to lie there! It's funny they don't get up when you come home. When my dogs hear me coming, they run to the door so fast and so hard that sometimes they make the rug that's in front of the door all bunched up, kind of folded and crammed against the door so hard that I can't open the door! Drives me nuts. It's a rather heavy rug with a stiff backing. Anyhow....cute photos! They look like they're enjoying themselves immensly.

My old sheltie use to do the same thing. She was never aloud on the couches but when you'd be pulling out of the driveway she'd be sitting on the couch looking at you leave out the window and would stay there until you got home. Then when we moved houses she use to run upstairs and jump on the bed and watch you leave out that window because it was the only window she could watch you leave out of.

This is what was really strange Dober. Normally I have to ACD heads sticking out the door before it even opens wide enough for me to get in. I was really wondering what the heck was happening. Guess they are resting up for their boating trip and tubing tomorrow lol.

Guess they told you, lol! Those are "up yours" looks if I've ever seen them :D
Glad you see that lol. And when I said what are you doing they turned their heads like I wasn't there. They ignored me most of the day until I brought out the tube and ice chests then whole new attitude. I am talking major suck up here . :lol-sign:

How very cute and funny. Our dog Bruno does the same thing when we leave the house and he also barks when looking out the window.

Of course I saw that look, lol . . . Filas - and German Shepherds - are artists when it comes to that sort of thing (at least the working sort, anyway - Shiva's not) :D I have a feeling that ACDs share quite a few traits with them - kind of a breed in between the two.

stubborn and cunning as well as so darn smart they can be down right scary. They are not your average dog to be sure. And people who think that dogs do not understand us when we are talking need to get to know one.
I was always sure that they had created the stare LOL. If Whiskey goes into a stare down with you more likely it is you who will break from it.
