Beagle Mixes

Does anyone else on this forum have any Beagle mixes, too? I have one as you can see from my pic!

Aww--your pup is so cute!! here's my 2 year old beagle mix--I just adore him--he is so funny!

I adopted a stray Beagle a few weeks ago that had puppies and they are not full blooded, so yeah, I have 9 Beagle mixes right now . There are pics in the Puppy section of the forum...

Clearly, the long legs came from elsewhere! She does have the beagle bawl though....

Psyfalcon, your mix looks like it has Greyhound or Whippet in it by the looks of the legs and the slight arch in the back...

Thanks for the cute pics! I was wondering what the characteristics of a full-blooded beagle were. Does anyone know. I love Halo just as she is but was wondering how similar or different she was to a pure beagle. Thanks!

This is Spanky. We got him as a puppy from the pound, and they had him listed as Terrier/Hound mix. I'm thinking if he has hound, it is Beagle.

She's sweet . Halo's got little legs and kind of reminds me of a daschund. I like watching her little trot.

He looks like a PBGV (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen). With maybe some bearded collie.

He does look like a PVGB. My daughter called all excited one night when she was watching a dog show to tell me that she had seen a dog that looked like Spanky. We, then, looked up alot of pictures on-line, and that's what he looks like. I doubt that's what he's mixed with, though. I've never seen one in person around here, and he's straight from the pound. I would guess he's from some much more common breeds, and probably has mixed breed parents.

I have a beagle terrier mix ginger. She is fifteen and while she is almost deaf (or choosing to ignore me!) she is still going strong!

the two really looked nothing alike. ginger looked all beagle and her all terrier and there were some in the litter inbetween.
