Just postin to say what up with all these -poo dogs out there?
I saw a awful breeders online today,so many mutts i felt faint.
Malte-poo
yorkie-poo
Where they GET these names from,a public toilet?? :lol-sign:
Dont get me started on the doodles!Byt the way, doodle is the australian term for penis,goldenpenis,catchy-name. :D

And they had all these itty-bitty dogs that were puppy sized at adults, and dyo wanna know why? (get ready to laugh peeps)So they could be carried around in handbags!! :p
If ya wanna stuff a poor lil puppy in ya nasty handbag,i'd gladly swap it for a rabid rat.

LOL Yeah I don't get why the word 'doodle' is used, especially since it was an Australian who thought it up.
And just to clarify...no adult Australian uses the word "doodle" to mean what Bob4eva said. It is, however, a word children use for the penis. ;) LOL Sorry, just didn't want anyone to think that I (a 29yr old woman) would use that word. Hahahaha!
They are pretty crappy names, I think it shows how stupid the breeders are. Or maybe I'm just being crabby about it. Perhaps that's the way to get them struck off as fashion accessories? Make the names into a complete joke and ridicule people who use the terms?
Hmmm...maybe that's a bit mean. But I do tend to laugh at people who tell me they have a 'cockapoo'. I mean "EEK!!" When the heck did that name become ok?

I like tiny little dogs. I have never had one, though. I know it's bad, but i want a dog that will let me dress it up  Bad or what? my current dog looks at me like I'm freakin nuts if I try to put anything on him. My hubby says i am trying to use a dog as a substitue for the baby i want to have but we are not ready to have yet.....and I ask you all....What is wrong with that?

Ewww...how can you want to dress a dog up? I say go and start collecting dolls instead. Leave the poor dog alone.
I hate to say it, but when I see a dog all dressed up like it's a freakin' doll I think the worst thing about the owner (ie: dumb, ignorant, shouldn't own a dog, should have a baby, needs to sort out some "issues"). I shouldn't think these things, they're often inaccurate...often but not always.
There's nothing wrong with a coat or something if the dog genuinely needs to be kept warm, but beyond that...I think the dog should be celebrated for the way it looks naturally. They're the most amazing creatures on earth and shouldn't be hidden behind all that stupid human superficial crap.

However, that's just my personal opinion. Hahahaha! Feel free to do it to your dog if you wish. :p It's not my business after all. ;)

When I watch the neighbors dog, I end up cleaning "yorkie-poo" :D

The most embarrassing ones I think are maltipoo, and cockapoo, and shihpoo.

Nancy, if you want a little dog to dress up you should look in to whippets or italian greyhounds. They are very sweet, and actually need clothes to protect them against the elements since they lack an undercoat. Around here, white ones even need sunscreen. :D

With some "scary" breeds, dressing them up helps break the ice when taking the out in public, or to do therapy work, etc. Putting a Rottie in a clown costume makes it look comical instead of frightening to people who might be afraid of them. It's also fun with a trick routine.

Before I was agaist putting clothes on dogs that didn't do somthing usefull like a sweter..

Until I saw a poodle mix in a mall, the guy put a micro bikini on her :yikes: whit tiny laces and bows.

In the newspaper a pic of a cocker whit another microscopic bikiny too

Why people are so stuped, some dogs are alredy naked so why put bikinis? is like they are obssesed whit having a playboy dog or something

So any clothes are better than a dog whit porn star clothes..

Next, people will start putting their dogs in doggy lingerie. Like little bizarre kinky teddies and neglegies. And thongs.

My lord, that was sick. What came over me??? :D

On a serious note, I do confess to having a doggy sweater for each of my dogs, and a coat for them too. And my dogs are large breeds. But...it's STRICTLY for utility purposes. :p
