Who has Miniature Schnauzer

Calling to all the mini schnauzer owners! I wanted to say hello! I hope I'm not the only one? I have a MS myself her name is Misty she's about 10 yrs old

This is on our breed want list! I hear they are great little dogs, very sturdy. We are thinking about getting on, but I"m concerned since our current dog is 70+ pounds and I don't want her to hurt the mini..while playing or something.

My sister has had minature schnauzers for several years, and has one that's about 3 years old now. At Christmas, due to problems with her ex's new wife, she took in a Bull Mastiff that her daughter gave her dad. Bentley is probably at least 80 pounds and growing -- and he and Brandy get along great! I know he's a very mellow dog -- but he still plays like a puppy. Brandy adores him!

You should be worried about the 70lb dog. Mini Schnauzers are tough!

:lol-sign: That's what I've heard. She just plays really rough with our little cat, so I wouldn't want her to hurt a little dog. Although, I'm sure the Mini would be boss. They are such neat little dogs.

I had Miniature Schnauzers when I was a kid. I loved one of those dogs with all my heart, but he was CLEARLY a one person dog. They are very clean dogs, shed very little, are smart, mine were easy to obedience train, and are very loyal IF they like you. If they don't, move out of the way. The only negative I can say for sure is they NEVER shut up. Barkbarkbarbarkbark! I have a Collie now and they say Collies never shut up. She's quiet next to the Schnauzers I had.

I always had mini and standard schnauzers growing up! I love them!!!

We have a 5 month old miniature schnauzer and she's a great little girl. Very smart and full of energy. Always making us laugh. We got her from Regency Miniature Schnauzers in Tracy California and are very happy with her.

my ex had two, jim and Jesse...cutest little dogs ever and so sweet.
